A Voltage Regulator Module (VRM) is a crucial component in modern computers, responsible for delivering stable and precise power to the CPU, GPU, and other critical components. Without a VRM, processors could receive fluctuating voltages, leading to system instability, overheating, or even hardware damage. Essentially, the VRM acts as the bridge between the power supply and the high-performance components, converting the 12V or 5V input from the PSU into lower voltages required by the processor.
